Every life is precious
The Hospice of St Francis is here to help people live their precious lives
well. Our free care has many meanings and is defined by each person's need,
needs that may change many times. We care for the whole person or family unit
for however long we are needed - days, weeks, months or years.
We love what we do and we love your support too. Volunteering, sharing stories
from your precious life, shopping with us, taking part in a fundraising
challenge or simply donating to us, from coins in a home box to leaving a gift
in your Will, all helps us raise over £5 million annually to fund our free
care. Every penny is needed to do what we do.

FAQs & Policies
Postage & Packaging:
All our items are tracked.
Collection available by appointment for certain items as indicated on the
listing. Collect from our online hub in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, open
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Please message upon auction end for details.
We will hold items for up to 4 weeks before relisting.
We are happy to combine postage where possible. If you are buying multiple
items then please request an invoice before paying.
The Hospice aims to provide a professional and sustainable service. We are
committed to our green credentials. As such, we aim to recycle as much
packaging materials as possible. All boxes we use have been donated and our
volunteers then handpick the ones that retain their structural integrity, are
in satisfactory condition and are fit for purpose.
In order to maintain fairness to other watchers/potential buyers on our
auction-style items, it is our policy not to end auctions early. If a listing
starts as an auction then we must let the auction run its course.
We are happy to consider offers on items that have a Best Offer option.

each item as accurately and honestly as possible.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have a particular question or
you'd like some more information.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your item, please message us and we'll do
